Let me start out by saying that I love this book. It is absolutely amazing, and I can’t stop rereading it. It also has a lot of reasons that I love this book, so it probably isn’t just me who says that I love it. It has a lot of things that probably surprise you, things that will make you love it, and parts of the book you just want to read again. Anyways, in this book, Aru wakes up in a cave with a girl called Kara, who turns out to be the Sleeper’s daughter. They both escape together and Kara meets all of Aru’s sisters. They seem suspicious of Kara, especially Brynne. Aru and her group of sisters and friends get a request from the King of the City of Lanka, The City of Gold, Lord Kubera to come to Lanka within 3 days, or else they won’t be able to get the Nairrata army. The Nairrata army is an army made of gold, one of the strongest in the world. They need the Nairrata army because of the incoming army of the Sleeper, marching towards the City of Gold, expected to reach within a week. They reach the City of Lanka through the gold roads, but not without a few challenges, slowly overcome, and by the last day of the 3 days given to them, they reach Lanka. They find out Hanuman and Urvashi have been trapped by Lord Kubera, and they are given 3 tasks. If they complete all 3, they will be awarded the Nairrata army, and Hanuman and Urvashi will be freed. The army of the Sleeper grows closer every minute. Can they succeed and beat the Sleeper’s army?
