Magnus Chase is a great series, to say the least. I had a lot of fun while reading it, and it just engaged me at every moment. This is an amazing series by Rick Riordan, and I recommend it to young and old readers.
This series covers Magnus Chase, his realization that Nordic Gods exist, the 9 worlds, along with dwarfs, elves, and more. He has to face many challenges, giants, a world of ice and cold, and even a Nordic God, Loki. He has to work together with his friends and companions. He travels into different worlds, he learns the past of his friends, and learns the truth about his father.
With the amazing story line, plot, theme, characters and design, I can recommend this book to kids and adults alike. However, I think the best age rating for this series is 10 - 14. Every adventure is so action packed, detailed, and comprehensive, but very easy to understand and follow. With all this, I can easily rate this series 5 stars. The way that every book comes together to form this great series is amazing.
